Hair texture Spring 2015
The weather is slowly changing, getting sunnier day by day, which means Londoners wearing less and less hats, and looking after their hair styles. I am lucky enough to work in one of the “bestes” salon in town, so fashion just constant and daily part of my job. With many of my colleagues attending and creating on LFW they always bring back the newest, hottest trends. What was on the catwalk in the morning is leaving the salon in the evening. So my prediction for summer in textures will be as follows:
My absolute favourite at the very moment is a textured messy long bob (on left), I call it PARTY WAVE. Party waves are like vintage waves, which means more defined then the beach or hippie waves, with more shine cleaners and definition.
Francesco Scognamiglio, Marchesa
HIPPIE WAVES are in and work very well on long hair, works very well with middle parting which I really like atm. This waves are mostly undefined, but some of them are worked to perfection, not over shiny, very natural look perfect for the city.
Emilio Pucci, Alberta Ferretti
We have a new take on BEACH WAVES this season, very light, slightly frizzy uber natural. If you going for this look forget your diffuser and your products on your shelve, let it naturally dry and use some serum or shine oil.
Etro, Narciso Rodriguez
RETRO WAVES are back, and the spring is just the perfect time for such bohemian hairstyle, work amazingly with centre parting. These barely seen loose waves are elegant, and easy to create as well maintain.
Felder Felder, Sonia Rykiel
