Zoltan, the UK’s leading hair texture expert, specialising in Keratin treatments and digital perming has launched a new treatment, “Zolaplex”.

Having trained around the world in the leading techniques and with over 23 years’ experience in semi-permanent and permanent re-texturising, improving texture is his trademark and he has made a name for himself as the go-to hairdresser for UK beauty editors, celebrities and VIPs.

His latest treatment, “Zolaplex” is a magical combination of keratin and protein for an intense moisture boost, and a new range, Olaplex that helps to strengthen hair and reinforce hair bonds.  The final phase uses Ultrasound technology to help the ingredients penetrate deeper in to the hair and seal in goodness and shine.   The result is hair that’s restored to its virgin state; lustrously smooth and shiny hair that’s manageable and styleable, every day.

“This treatment is a unique hair infusion that I’ve created using the latest techniques and products,  to specifically treat daily hair damage caused by colour chemicals and heat styling to strengthen hair and restore its natural beauty”, says Zoltan.

“Zolaplex” is an entirely bespoke treatment, customised and adapted to each client’s needs and lifestyle that lasts up to three months.

“Zolaplex” is available from and takes up to 2 hours.  For further information and to book an appointment please visit the contact page.

Can you have Keratin Treatment whilst pregnant?

I’been asked many times if it’s advised or possible to have texture services:

-perming, Brazilian Keratin, Japanese Straightening, digi perm

Whilst pregnant.

My answer is that I had many, many customers who has done so, but it’s not my call not even on the level of advising someone to have a treatment or to wait. I always recommend to speak to the doctor, and I am always happy to provide an ingredient list if needed.

Hair texture Spring 2015

The weather is slowly changing, getting sunnier day by day, which means Londoners wearing less and less hats, and looking after their hair styles. I am lucky enough to work in one of the “bestes” salon in town, so fashion just constant and daily part of my job. With many of my colleagues attending and creating on LFW they always bring back the newest, hottest trends. What was on the catwalk in the morning is leaving the salon in the evening. So my prediction for summer in textures will be as follows:

My absolute favourite at the very moment is a textured messy long bob (on left), I call it PARTY WAVE. Party waves are like vintage waves, which means more defined then the beach or hippie waves, with more shine cleaners and definition.

HIPPIE WAVES are in and work very well on long hair, works very well with middle parting which I really like atm. This waves are mostly undefined, but some of them are worked to perfection, not over shiny, very natural look perfect for the city.

Emilio Pucci, Alberta Ferretti

We have a new take on BEACH WAVES this season, very light, slightly frizzy uber natural. If you going for this look forget your diffuser and your products on your shelve, let it naturally dry and use some serum or shine oil.

Etro, Narciso Rodriguez

RETRO WAVES are back, and the spring is just the perfect time for such bohemian hairstyle, work amazingly with centre parting. These barely seen loose waves are elegant, and easy to create as well maintain.

Felder Felder, Sonia Rykiel

Hair fashion, trends and celebs

My hair and I have long been fans of Zoltan, aka ‘The King of Brazilian Blowdries,’ he’s the only stylist I will see for smoothing treatments, just like with my fellow beauty editors.   So, when he asked me to blog for his new site, my hair and I were honored.

For his new site, Zoltan asked for hair news, hair fashion and hair happenings – it’s his thing you see, and thankfully it’s mine too.   On this blog you’ll find everything you need to know about modern hair, from the latest celebrity trends and cuts, to the lowdown on smoothing treatments and how to really find your best face-flattering cut.

A stylist like Zoltan that’s a cut above the rest needs a website that’s equally snappy to match.  In the coming weeks and months, we’re going to great lengths to make this site as cool and smooth as his treatments.
